The Point of Sale (cash register) is designed for direct in-shop selling: fast touch interface, multi-method payment, printed receipt. It runs on computer, tablet or phone.
Using the till
1. Open the session
Open the Point of Sale module and start a cash session. Enter the opening float (the cash in the drawer at start-up).
2. Record sales
Add products to the basket by selecting them or scanning their barcode. Quantities, discounts and prices adjust with one tap. The total and taxes display continuously.
3. Take payment and hand over the receipt
Choose the payment method: cash, Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money), card or transfer. Change is calculated. The receipt can be printed (Bluetooth printer) or sent to the customer.
4. Close the session
At day end, close the session: Omamori compares the theoretical amount to the amount actually counted in the drawer and flags any discrepancy. Sales automatically feed the accounts and decrease stock.
